How Professional Cleaning Improves Indoor Air Quality

Most people picture air pollution as something that happens outside, near a highway. The research points the other way. Australians spend roughly 90% of their time indoors, and the US Environmental Protection Agency has repeatedly found indoor air to be two to five times more polluted than the air outside - occasionally far worse. Which means the air you actually breathe is mostly your home's air.
Very little of it arrives as visible dirt. The main indoor sources are:
Three things, and it's worth being specific about them:
1. It removes the reservoir instead of moving it. Dry dusting and a bagless domestic vacuum with a tired filter both re-suspend fine particles. Proper practice is damp microfibre on surfaces (particles bond to the cloth rather than lifting) and a vacuum with sealed HEPA filtration - a true HEPA filter captures 99.97% of particles at 0.3 microns, which is the size range that reaches deep into the lungs.
2. It reaches the places that hold the most. Under beds, behind wardrobes, the tops of door frames, curtain headers, upholstery and carpet underlay hold more accumulated dust than every flat surface in the room combined. These are exactly the spots a fast weekly clean skips.
3. It reduces humidity-driven biology. Removing soap scum, keeping exhaust fans and their covers clear, and drying bathroom surfaces properly all lower the local humidity that mould and dust mites need.
Our deep cleaning across Mentone, Parkdale, Beaumaris and the bayside suburbs targets the dust reservoirs, not just the surfaces - with low-odour, non-toxic products so we're not trading dust for fumes.
Get a QuoteCleaning is not a cure for asthma or hay fever, and no honest cleaner should imply it is. It reduces the load; it doesn't remove the trigger from the world. If a home has an active moisture problem - a leaking shower base, rising damp, no working extraction fan - cleaning will keep resetting it and the mould will keep coming back. That's a building fix, not a cleaning fix, and we'll tell you when we think that's what you're looking at.
